Connection time frames vary but typically Office Connect Business Phone Lines take 35 working days for installation.

The basic minimum service is 2 - 8 voice telephony lines for a minimum contract period of 12 months. You can add in multiple connections providing you more than 8 lines and multiple High Speed Internet ADSL OR SHDSL Connections.Telaustralia Office Connect can be delivered with and without Internet Access. Not only do you get cheap Business Grade Internet, you get low cost phone calls as well.

Note – This is a bundled product and therefore Business Grade Internet is not available with out a minimum of 2 phone lines. This product is available in limited areas from approx 350 exchanges nationally.

PRODUCT OUTLINE

How is Telaustralia Office Connect Delivered? 
Telaustralia Office Connect is a integrated Voice & Data business communication product, which is delivered using a high-speed Business Grade internet connection instead of traditional Telephone Lines. The internet connection is delivered via the Unconditioned Local Loop (ULL). This product is not available to residential customers.

Unlike other bundled Voice & Data solutions Telaustralia Office Connect supports Fax Services and you can keep your existing numbers? A we have reciprocal Local Number Portability (LNP) agreements in place with Telstra, Optus & Powertel. Any PSTN number from any of these carriers can be ported onto our network allowing the customer to keep their existing phone number.

VOICE SERVICES

Telaustralia Office Connect is a business communication product offered as either a discrete voice service (5-8 lines only) or bundled communication service(2 or more lines). The service is primarily offered as a voice service with the option to bundle internet access & VPN services. Internet & VPN services are not available as stand-alone options.

OFFICE COMMUNICATIONS

Telaustralia Office Connect voice services are bundled with a range of business telephony features common with standard analogue business lines. These features (which are usually charged for by Telstra as Value Added Services) are available free of charge on all Business Advantage services which are connected directly to analogue handsets. A summary of the features is provided below:

STANDARD FEATURES

CALL FORWARD

Call forward transfers calls from your phone to a number you choose, be it your mobile, pager, answering service or another phone. Several types of call forwarding exist. Call Forward Immediate, Call Forward No Answer, Call Forward On Busy

CALL WAITING

Call Waiting can let you know if a new caller is trying to contact you while you are already on the phone.

CALL HOLD

This feature allows you to place a call on hold muting any sounds coming from both the calling and receiving party.

CALL TRANSFER

Call transfer allows you to transfer a current call to another extension within your organisation.

3 WAY CALLING

Three-way calling allows a party to initialize two simultaneous phone calls so that all three parties can then converse together.

CALLING LINE ID

This allows you to enable or block your primary number being displayed to the receiving party.

OPTIONAL FEATURES

LINE HUNT

Single line hunt lets you add additional lines, yet advertise only one number. As calls come in on your main number, Line Hunt automatically finds the next free line and puts them through. Customers needn’t wait until the main phone line is free of calls. Multiple line hunt is available on Office Connect that are connected directly to handsets. Multiple line hunts allow you to set-up more than one line hunt group. Each extension can appear in any order in any of the line hunt groups.

BUSINESS GRADE INTERNET BUNDLED SERVICE

Business Grade Internet is a Bundled Broadband service and is a popular choice for Telaustralia customers. Business must have a minimum of 2 business phone lines with telaustralia and lines must be located within range of a Office Connect enabled exchange.
